Murder Mystery dinner to benefit future entrepreneurs

The Shelby County CEO program will host a Wild West-themed murder mystery dinner and silent auction from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Shelbyville Event Center.
CEO students are paired with local business leaders and visit area businesses, gain valuable insights from guest lecturers and put their knowledge and teamwork to the test by planning and organizing a class business. Students participating in the program learn many critical concepts including problem solving skills, teamwork, self-motivation, responsibility, higher order thinking, communication and inquiry.
Southwest Indiana Association of Realtors board member Anna Lou Chapman presented the Daviess County CEO program with a $1,000 sponsorship check at the CEO dinner event on Wednesday.
Students in the Daviess County Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities or CEO class hosted a murder mystery dinner theater Wednesday night at WestGate Academy.
