“I believe it’s so much more than just a class I took my senior year,” said Yang of CEO. “It seems like every event that I’m at, I find myself using my CEO skills, whether it’s interview skills or interpersonal skills – being able to have a conversation with people my age and adults, as well. That’s something I would not have been able to do at the beginning of my senior year.

While most high school students are thinking about school supplies, classes and extracurriculars, White County CEO students are thinking about what it looks like to start and run their own business. On August 16 our community will begin its third CEO program year, along with 42 CEO communities across the Midwest.
On August 2nd, the CEO Board of Directors hosted an Orientation for the Class of 2019. We have ten excited RCHS seniors ready to start this new adventure. Dakota Brown, Wilson Conley, Reid Doll, Sutton Dunn, Brent Hatten, Lauren Hill, Seth Kocher, Abigail Nealis, Macy Piercefield, Viktoria Willis.
TEUTOPOLIS — Teutopolis High School graduate Madison Magee saw her Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities project come to a close Wednesday but not before it left an imprint on her heart. Magee presented Community Support Systems with a $2,600.45 check, which was a culmination of the proceeds from her book “Handprints.” The book includes 25 stories and drawings detailing the lives of CSS’s consumers who double as the book’s authors. Some of the book’s authors were on hand at the presentation. Lori Poehler said for her contribution to the book she drew a lake, which is her favorite place to visit.
