About Me

Mason Lyerla is a 17-year-old student and the younger brother of 2020 alumna Lauren Lyerla. Like his sister, Mason is passionate about being involved in his community and making the most of every opportunity around him. He enjoys public speaking, music, drawing, fashion, and building meaningful connections with others.

Mason is actively involved in several school and community organizations and currently serves as State President for Educators Rising, where he continues to grow as a leader while advocating for future educators across the state. He first learned about the CEO program through his sister’s experience, and from the moment she began sharing stories about it, he knew it was something he wanted to be part of.

Being a member of Union County’s CEO program has been an incredibly impactful experience for Mason. He values the friendships he has built, the insight gained from guest speakers and mentors, and the hands-on opportunities that have helped shape his confidence and leadership skills. This year has played a major role in preparing him for the future.

After high school, Mason plans to attend Murray State University, where he will major in language studies. He also plans to join the ROTC program, with the goal of continuing to develop discipline, leadership, and a strong sense of service. While he is the founder of Skyline Media, his primary focus moving forward is on his education, personal growth, and preparing for a future where he can make a lasting impact through both leadership and communication.
