Mariel McGrath is a 2026 graduate from Anna-Jonesboro Community High School. She was involved in several clubs, including Student Council, Beta Club, Youth Advisory Council, and Future Business Leaders of America. She enjoys spending her time either reading or baking sweets. Through her time in the CEO program, Mariel has worked on creating her own business that she enjoys and can benefit the community. After high school, she plans on majoring in Microbiology with an eye toward a career as an allergist.

McGrath Bakery is solely owned by Mariel McGrath and offers several unique cookie flavors. It’s name is partly an homage to the McGrath Dairy, a family business that operated between 1903 and 1986 in southeastern Missouri. McGrath Bakery offers ease to the customer and delicious cookies you cannot readily find elsewhere. Baked goods are affordable and completely homemade. To purchase, customers reach out through Facebook or Instagram and set up a time and location to pick up their baked goods, or they can buy at in-person events throughout the year. With several years of experience with baking, McGrath Bakery is sure to satiate any sweet craving.
