CEO Students Learn Resume Best Practices from Recruiting Expert Jenna Rease of Robert Half
Resume development is an essential part of the CEO program, equipping students with the tools to present their skills and experiences professionally. Today, Kankakee County CEO students had the opportunity to meet virtually with Jenna Rease, a Recruiting Manager at Robert Half, the world’s first and largest specialized financial recruitment service. Since 1948, Robert Half has been connecting top-tier accounting and finance professionals with companies of all sizes across the globe.
During the Teams meeting, Jenna shared invaluable insights into resume development and current hiring trends. She walked students through resume best practices, offering tips on how to craft a professional, eye-catching resume that not only stands out to hiring managers but also successfully navigates Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). She also emphasized the value of using LinkedIn to build a strong professional network and explore career opportunities, sharing practical tips for creating a standout profile that captures attention.
Jenna’s advice gave students a practical edge in preparing for their future careers, helping them understand how to present their skills, experiences, and goals effectively on paper.
