About Me

Allison Shaffer is a senior at Effingham High School who plans to attend The Royal School of Cosmetology after graduation to become a hairstylist and eventually open her own salon. Throughout high school, Allison has stayed involved as a football cheerleader, basketball Pom Pons dancer, competitive dancer, and member of FCA and Book Club, earning a senior leadership role, team captain honors, and the Spirit Award on the cheer squad. Outside of school and sports, she works part-time at The Pizza Man, where she takes initiative to help her team and tackle whatever needs to be done during busy shifts.

Through the Effingham County CEO program, Allison hopes to gain heavy business knowledge, sharpen her public speaking skills, and build the self-confidence needed to make professional business offers and successfully launch her future career.
