About Me

Aevery Bogdajewicz is a senior at Dieterich High School with a strong commitment to leadership and academic excellence. Serving as the Varsity Captain of the Scholar Bowl team, Aevery is also an active member of the Business Club, History Club, Student Council, and the National Honor Society. On track to receive the prestigious Presidential Scholarship at Lake Land College, she balances her academics while working as a waitress at Niemerg's Steakhouse in Effingham. In her free time, she enjoys reading, shopping, and spending time with friends.

Following graduation, Aevery plans to begin her studies at Lake Land College before transferring to a four-year university to earn her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in History Education, pursuing her dream of becoming a history professor. 

Through the Effingham County CEO program, Aevery hopes to become confident in building both personal and professional connections, while gaining professional and life skills to carry into her future career.
