Recently, our class had the opportunity to visit Edward Jones and hear from financial advisor, Cody Fisher, about building a strong financial future.
We learned the importance of starting early, especially when it comes to investing, like opening a Roth IRA and contributing consistently. One of the biggest takeaways was to always be prepared for change and to stay patient when working toward long-term goals.
He also emphasized creating an emergency fund, making the most of your time, and never trying to time the market.
Overall, it was a great experience that gave us real-world insight into financial planning and what it takes to succeed in the business world.
