It was a great day for the West Central CEO Program as we had the opportunity to visit one of our long-time supporters—Harvey Anderson and Johnson Funeral Home in Willmar, Minnesota.

Harvey Anderson and Johnson Funeral Homes have been a cornerstone in our region for nearly a century. The journey began in the 1930s when Harvey Anderson started his career in funeral service, eventually establishing the Anderson-Sperry Funeral Home in 1941. Since then, the organization has grown through generations of leadership, dedicated service, and a commitment to innovation—including the addition of a crematory in 2004 and ongoing expansion across the West Central area.
Through it all, their core mission has remained unchanged: providing compassionate, respectful, and personalized service to families during their most difficult times. Their forward-thinking approach and deep community roots make them a leader in the region.
