Wayne County CEO students spent Tuesday and Wednesday morning this week at Feed My Sheep Soup Kitchen, where they experienced firsthand the impact of community service. Lois Dishman-Cooper served as our host, sharing insight into the daily operations of the soup kitchen and how it sustains itself financially while providing hot meals to some of the most vulnerable members of our community.

Lois quickly put the students to work, engaging them in organizing the supply pantry, assisting with light food preparation, and even helping clean up outside in preparation for their ninth anniversary celebration tonight, May 1st!

We are grateful to Lois for hosting the CEO class and providing such a meaningful, hands-on learning opportunity. We also encourage our community to support this important outreach through financial contributions, as the organization is entirely self-funded. Congratulations on nine years of service, and best wishes for many more to come!
