Vigo County CEO alum (class of '24) Tyree Cuffle reflected on what he gained from the program as well as how it has opened doors for him as a student, small business owner, and employee.
Currently, Tyree is cutting hair at The Classic Man Cuts, a partner company with The Classic Man clothing store. The original business was started by Tony Brewer, who wanted to help men present themselves in a professional look and not cost a fortune. Eight years ago, Tony began his focus on large men, men like football players, who had a hard time finding dress clothes that fit. Nearly a year ago, his brother Teddy opened The Classic Man Cuts where Tyree has booth space.

In CEO, Tyree began his clothing brand ELE, Everybody Love Everyone, which he still operates today. With the help of his CEO mentor (Dallas Wilson), Tyree has rebranded his business and dropped several clothing items since. He stressed how valuable the connections he made in the program continues to work for him.

Tyree shared with students several life lessons he learned in CEO:
--Don't be scared to make a decision.
--Put passion over profit.
--Don't do something because it makes you a lot of money.
--Accept failure. You never take a loss. You take a lesson.
--Be patient and trust the process.

The week of Juneteenth 2024, Tyree went on to win Pitch Black, a pitch competition, in Terre Haute. He felt the lessons CEO taught helped him know his business inside and out.
Tyree's journey as an entrepreneur is in the early stages, but follow his journey with us.
