About Me

Alyssa Fabian is a graduate of Cobden High School and an Honors Escrow Scholarship recipient who earned her associate degree through Shawnee Community College during her high school career. She served as president of both her school’s Beta Club chapter and the Illinois State Beta Club, while also holding additional leadership roles across multiple organizations, including serving as a state leader for the national nonprofit ACTDEFY. Alyssa is a 2025 QuestBridge College Prep Scholar, a Hispanic National Bar Foundation law camp alumna, a participant in the WashU FLI In Arts & Sciences program, and an alumna of the Girls Lead program through the Illinois Lieutenant Governor’s Office, where she shadowed the policy director. She plans to study Political Science and Spanish on a pre-law track at Washington University in St. Louis as a Rodriguez Scholar, with the goal of becoming a lawyer. Through the CEO program, Alyssa discovered the depth and meaning within her own community, learning that success doesn’t always require going far from home. The experience helped her develop a genuine appreciation for the people, stories, and opportunities in her town, shaping how she defines success and where she hopes to make an impact.
