About Me
Hello, my name is Michael Freese and I am a senior at Cerro Gordo High School. I was born and raised on a farm near La Place where I ride horses, clean the barn, and fix things. I am an Eagle Scout, member of my school’s student council, and a member of National Honor Society. I am the captain of the golf team, and I also do football and baseball. I have worked as a seasonal laborer for the horticulture department of the Decatur Park District and as a line cook at Judy’s Kitchen in Cerro Gordo. I hope to attend either the University of Illinois or Wisconsin for food science. Hard work and empathy is something that my parents have instilled in me from a young age, and I believe it is reflected in my work ethic. I love to challenge myself and learn new things, so I am excited for what CEO has to offer.
