CHESTER -- “These kids are ignorant. They’re not stupid, they are contextually inexperienced.” Those were the words expressed by Monroe-Randolph Superintendent of Schools Kelton Davis while explaining the Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities (CEO) program to the Chester Chamber of Commerce on Nov. 18.
LINCOLN — About 20 Logan County students next fall will take part in course designed to introduce entrepreneurship to teenagers. Lincoln College on Monday announced its new partnership with local businesses to create the Land of Lincoln CEO program.
Area businesses and education leaders have launched the CEO (Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities) program in Jasper County.
Local businesspeople and community representatives had the opportunity to hear a unique presentation on a unique idea for the county’s youth last week.
