Organization:  Founded in 2010, the Midland Institute for Entrepreneurship partners with communities throughout the United States to establish and maintain quality CEO programs.  Our vision is to be the standard for entrepreneurship education in the United States.  We do that by providing world class customer service, guidance and content to our CEO communities.

Job Title: Program Developer

Job Title Summary:

Reporting to the Lead Program Developer (LPD), Program Developers have both internal and external responsibilities, ranging from community and project management (resource development, high-quality community delivery) to human capital (training, mentoring, career progression) and administration (information technology, reporting, evaluating). Program Developers partner closely with the LPD to chart Midland Institute’s future growth and strategic response to an ever-increasing demand for the organization’s services.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong program relationships; an exceptional relationship-builder. 
  • Develop thought leadership around specific topics / emerging instructional and board leadership practice areas. 
  • Mentor/coach facilitators on program success and best practices.
  • Coach board members on board roles and board resources and best practices. 
  • Work with the Midland team to refine best practices and internal systems with an eye toward future needs and resources.

You will excel in this role if you...

  • Current or prior CEO facilitator or engaged CEO board member. 
  • Are passionate about Midland Institute for Entrepreneurship’s mission and impact.
  • Have experience in working on multiple tasks while responding to multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide array of people – c-suite level and/or mid-level managers, for-profit and nonprofit. 
  • Possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Are able to exercise tact and diplomacy in organizational settings.
  • Self-starter, self-disciplined.
  • Spark, imagination, are solution-minded.
  • Ability to listen and collect program pain points and needs.
  • Remain focused in the face of pressure, deliver against timelines, not intimidated by tasks/time limitations.
  • Travel required.
