There are so many wonderful business owners/entrepreneurs the CEOs meet during their class year. Rob Potter, with Stifel Investments, dropped several nuggets of wisdom on the CEOs.
Rob is one of the smartest people I know, besides the fact he is a Cubs fan!
Rob was a longtime partner with a CPA firm before taking the leap into the investment world running his own business.
Some of Rob’s statements he shared included:
Everything you’ve ever wanted is on the other side of fear..
Try is a trick, I do.
Customers determine your value as a business owner.
You won’t/can’t be everything to everybody.
You will always fail to connect with someone, move on.
We need death to measure the value of life.
And lastly, life is not linear.
Thanks, Rob, for spending time with the CEOs and adding value to their CEO experience.
