CEOs had an awesome Google meeting with Kenzie Lane.
Her business, Lane Co., has a wide variety of unique, hand drawn designs in a “dusty bohemian style with a western twist” that goes on shorts, hats and stacked jewelry.
Kenzie shared her entrepreneurial journey from her days of being part of the Knox County community and her dad being a professor at Carl Sandburg College.
Her dad was a huge believer in the Trio/Upward Bound Program at CSC and left a lasting impression on many students along with Kenzie and her brother.
Part of the sales from Lane Co, goes back to CSC and the Trio/Upward Bound Program.
Her dad lost his battle to cancer, but left Kenzie with the words, “Be happy and enjoy the journey.”
