Did you know that a strong professional network and platforms like LinkedIn can help students discover internships and career pathways in high school and college?

CEO students had the opportunity to video chat with Emma Kate Bretzlaff about building a strong LinkedIn presence, utilizing professional networks, and securing internships. Emma, a 2025 graduate of DePaul University and a 2021 graduate of Kankakee High School, currently works as a Finance Associate at New Chicago Consulting.

During her time at DePaul, Emma worked for the Office of Student Employment, where she developed expertise in LinkedIn profile development, networking strategies, and internship preparation. She shared practical advice and real-world insights with CEO students, who also had the opportunity to ask their own questions during the session.

Thank you to Emma for taking the time to share her knowledge and experiences with these young entrepreneurs and emerging professionals.
