Kankakee County CEO students recently had the opportunity to visit Peddinghaus Corporation, a global leader in structural steel fabrication machinery with roots right here in our community.

Students toured the facility and gained a firsthand look at how advanced manufacturing, precision engineering, and innovation come together to serve customers across the world. From design to production, the scale and efficiency of operations at Peddinghaus left a strong impression.

A special thank you to Henry Peddinghaus for the insightful tour. We also appreciate his role as a professional mentor in the Kankakee County CEO program and his continued investment in our students.

Experiences like this expand students’ understanding of the wide range of career paths and industries available in our community, while reinforcing the value of leadership, adaptability, and technical skill in today’s workforce.
