CEO Team Visits LN Engineering in Momence

Kankakee County CEO students recently visited LN Engineering in Momence for a behind-the-scenes look at a manufacturing business with national and international reach. Owners Charles Navarro and Tammy Hellings shared the company’s story, which began as a project while the two were students at Northwestern University and has since grown into a successful and expanding automotive manufacturing company, specializing in aftermarket parts for Porsche, among others.

During the visit, students learned how LN Engineering provides “no-compromise” solutions to the automotive aftermarket, exceeding OEM requirements through precision engineering, improved materials, and advanced manufacturing processes. Students toured the company’s 17,000-square-foot facility, where all machining and manufacturing is completed in the United States using American-made Haas CNC machines. The visit also highlighted LN Engineering’s dedication to quality, including multiple inspection points and a climate-controlled quality control lab where every part is checked before release.

LN Engineering has been a strong supporter of the Kankakee County CEO program and continues to inspire students by sharing its business journey, operations, and commitment to excellence. We are grateful to Charles, Tammy, and the entire LN Engineering team for their continued support of the CEO program and for welcoming students into their facility.
