A Majestic Morning of Business and Inspiration for CEO Students
The Kankakee County CEO team toured The Majestic in Kankakee today, visiting three local businesses and meeting with their owners.
At Stefari Coffee House, students met with co-owner Katherine Henson, who shared insights about opening their new location, managing the transition, and reaching a different market than their West Avenue shop. Students also had a chance to sample one of their specialty drinks.
Next, they visited Rosewood Acres, where owner Destiney Dangerfield talked about her business focused on real estate photography, headshots, and selfie booths. She shared how multiple streams of revenue support the business, and students got to explore the selfie booths, which are even available to students before high school dances.
Finally, the group toured Majestic Weddings & Events with Marci Sadler. Marci, who co-owns several properties and businesses including The Majestic, Deer Ridge Barn Wedding and Events and Stefari West Avenue, spoke about her background in mergers and acquisitions and how it has shaped her journey as an investor and entrepreneur.
Today’s business tours left CEO students with valuable lessons on leadership, innovation, and building a thriving local brand. Thank you to these business owners for taking the time to give the CEO students a tour!
