Peddinghaus Delivers World-Class Insight for Kankakee County CEO Students
The Kankakee County CEO team had the pleasure of touring Peddinghaus Corporation this morning, with a tour led by Henry Peddinghaus (who also serves as a Mentor for our CEO program!). Students explored numerous departments including Accounting, Marketing, Sales, Robotics, Engineering, and Welding, as well as several areas highlighting different stages of manufacturing their cutting-edge machinery.
Peddinghaus Corporation, established in 1903 in Germany, is a leading manufacturer of machinery for structural steel and heavy plate fabrication. Now headquartered in Bradley, Illinois, the company offers a diverse range of equipment, including drill lines, plate processors, angle lines, thermal cutting machines, robotic welding systems, layout marking machines, band saws, material handling solutions, shot blasters, and ironworkers. Under the fourth generation of Peddinghaus family leadership, the company continues to serve the steel construction, plate fabrication, and metalworking industries with innovative solutions designed to boost productivity and open new market opportunities.
With a global presence spanning over 89 countries and more than 9,000 machines in operation, Peddinghaus maintains multiple manufacturing facilities and sales offices around the world to ensure timely deliveries and outstanding customer support. CEO students gained valuable insights into what it takes to operate as a global company.
The visit also included a delicious breakfast in the on-site Café, where meals are prepared by a chef and his team. This was an impressive and memorable experience, and we are truly grateful to Henry and the entire Peddinghaus team for their warm hospitality.
