About Me

Hello, my name is Becca Bauman and I am a student at Olympus High. Outside of school, I love spending time with family and friends, reading historical fiction, and playing the piano. From a young age, I’ve had an interest in business and love to ask my dad questions about his job. Joining the Academy of Finance this year, I got to learn how business connects to real people and our individual lives. It isn’t about vocabulary words or formulas, but the people behind the numbers. It is the reason behind history, science, and I see it as a culmination of everything I’ve learned. I believe CEO is a great place to continue building those connections between business and real life. I have learned business in my own life through a piano studio I started when I was 13. Through teaching fourteen students, I have learned the importance of making connections with my students and their parents. Trust and relationships have helped my studio grow far more than technical or financial knowledge alone. I want to join the CEO program to learn from people who have grown through challenges and failures, and to push myself with real experiences.
