Gibson County CEO experienced another of the often hidden treasures of Gibson County, the Patoka River National Wildlife Refuge.
A huge “Thank You” to Nancy Gehlhausen and Heath Hamilton for serving as our knowledgeable guides!
Nancy taught at Wood Memorial High School for many years and is now ALL about volunteering around this Wetlands treasure, near her home.
Heath is the Manager of the Refuge and the ONLY full time employee for this massive project!?!
If you have not visited, it is well worth your time to hike and appreciate all that we have at our own back door…
Thank you, Nancy and Heath, for preserving our natural habitat and for supporting Gibson County CEO!!
