Seniors were very familiar with Jostens when it came to caps and gowns, but didn't realize the third generation of selling Jostens products that was located in our back yard. Parker Lawrence stopped by Gateway CEO to share the business side of Jostens with students. Here are some highlights from Parker's visit!
- Jostens is a 127 year old business that started with a jeweler providing watches for graduates at West Point to band their class together. Today, Jostens continues to provide everything related to graduations from caps, gowns, class rings, letterman jackets, announcements, cords, etc.
- Jostens also provides Championship rings for varying levels from high school state champs to national championships for college and professional teams.
- Jostens always strives to put clients first and solve any problems that arise in such a monumental time of graduation
- Process is so important to being effective for serving a large number of clients. All products are currently manufactured in the US.
- As a professional, you must know your brand and know your markets. As a brand, Jostens is about creating traditions and telling stories for life. These traditions may vary from one school to another.
- Everyday, they work to be the best company. With over 100 multi-generational reps and market dominance, they want to continue to partner with communities in celebrating life milestones.

Thank you Parker for sharing your story!
