What a way to wrap up the year.

We kicked off our end-of-year trip at the Saint Louis Zoo, where students got a behind-the-scenes look at how a major organization operates. They learned about different revenue streams, the expenses required to keep things running, and how those dollars support meaningful conservation efforts.

Next stop was City Foundry STL for lunch before heading to IKEA. There, students explored the company’s history and the vision of founder Ingvar Kamprad. His philosophy really stuck with them—nothing is ever finished, it can always be better, treat customers like family, and create an environment that draws people in and makes them want to stay.

We wrapped up the day at the Gateway Arch, which was a first visit for many students, and ended the night with a great dinner at Mama’s on the Hill.

A full day of learning, new experiences, and making memories together.
