About Me

Jackson Ooton is a senior at Beecher City High School where he stays busy serving as the class Vice President and stays active in the school's Student council and FFA. Outside the classroom, Jackson works at Menards, is a guitarist with a number of bands, and is currently logging flight hours at Shelby County Airport to earn his private pilot's license.

Participating in Effingham County CEO is a great opportunity for Jackson to push himself, build confidence, and becoming a stronger public speaker while connecting with local business leaders. After graduating high school Jackson plans to attend Southern Illinois University Carbondale to partake in their Aviation program where he will work towards his dream of becoming a commercial airline pilot. Later in life, he hopes to open his own flight school to provide the opportunity of aviation to more people
