Chad Opel, CFP (Senior Wealth Management Advisor, CEO Investor & Mentor & founder of Front Office Wealth Strategies), welcomed us into his beautiful office this week.

In addition to discussing how his team helps educate and guide clients on every aspect of sound wealth strategies and planning, he shared his story and essential life lessons he has learned along the way.

In high school, Chad, like many of our students, was not 100% certain what he wanted to do. He knew he loved sports and baseball, and pursued several playing and coaching opportunities in his collegiate career (including being drafted into the minor leagues!).

Looking for a job closer to home, Chad took a position at Enterprise when he moved back to the Edwardsville area. During that time, a client told Chad that he would make a great financial advisor which sparked a new interest. The rest, as they say, is history!

Chad explained that many times, 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙖𝙘𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙮 𝙪𝙣𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙚𝙙. 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙚𝙮𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙗𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙥 𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙯𝙤𝙣𝙚, 𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙚 𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙗𝙮.

The lessons Chad learned while playing baseball and coaching are applicable to any career and essential to being successful.
