Start Your Application
When applications open, you’ll get a text with a direct link. Our blind review hides names and personal details, so selection is based on your potential and interest. The application is a simple 6-step process.

Submit Before The Application Window Closes
Late submissions won’t be considered. Submit a 150-word personal narrative on why you want to be a part of CEO, complete a character survey, provide the required character references (set by your program), and obtain parent/guardian approval.

Sebastian Noronha
Edwardsville CEO
Class of 2026
Sebastian Noronha is a Senior at Father McGivney Catholic High School. At school, he holds several leadership positions including House Leader, National Honor Society Committee Head, Co-Captain of the Announcement Team, Drama Department Head of Marketing & Media, Drama Club President, and Founder and President of International Cultures Club. Sebastian stays involved in several other extracurricular activities, as well, including Spanish Club, Yearbook Club, and his role as Student Lead of the Dance Planning Committee. Outside of school, Sebastian enjoys reading, learning languages, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. After high school, Sebastian plans to attend college to double major in Psychology and Spanish on a Pre-Med Track, with a possible minor in Global Studies or Neuroscience. He hopes to one day become an oncologist or work for the World Health Organization (WHO). Sebastian joined the CEO program to grow in his communication skills and for the real world experience gained from this program. He is excited to grow as a person and can’t wait to establish community connections and make new friends throughout this program. He is so grateful for this amazing opportunity and everyone who has made the Edwardsville CEO program possible!

Alethea Ball
Edwardsville CEO
Class of 2026
Thea Ball is a senior at Metro East Lutheran High School. Thea is on the MELHS tennis, basketball, and softball teams. She also participates in National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Honor Choir. Outside of school, she participates in the Quercus Grove 4H Club, her church’s youth group, and she is employed at Hamel McDonald’s. Thea enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, watching movies, deer hunting, and being outside. After high school Thea plans to attend college and become a middle school teacher. Thea is grateful for the opportunity to be in CEO and is excited for all the things she will learn this year.

Kaiden Nelson
Edwardsville CEO
Class of 2026
Kaiden Nelson is a Senior at Edwardsville High School. Kaiden was selected as a member of the 2026 CEO program, and is very devoted to academic achievement. He is enrolled in multiple national honors societies as well as an AP course and is on High Honor Roll. Kaiden is community-oriented serving as an officer and editor for EHS Key club, a club designed to lead initiatives to support developmentally challenged students. His involvement in Unified sports, Care Closet, and FLS programs highlight his dedication to inclusivity and teamwork. Kaiden also spends much of his time both in and out of school enjoying creative arts such as photography, of which he is a head photographer in the EHS yearbook program, and painting and drawing as a member of the national art honors society. Kaiden is also an active member of Student Council, helping to organize student events and advocate for students' interests. Kaiden is very excited for the opportunities to grow as a leader and make a lasting impact on his community through the lessons learned in CEO.

Kenneth Jamison
Edwardsville CEO
Class of 2026
KJ Jamison is a senior at Edwardsville High School. In his free time he enjoys being outdoors and spending time with his friends. His favorite hobbies include fishing, waterskiing, and jetskiing which are done at his family’s lakehouse on Lake of Egypt in Southern Illinois. He is also involved in the wrestling team as well as the bass fishing team. KJ hopes to gain valuable knowledge from CEO to achieve his dreams of running his own successful business in the future. After high school KJ plans to study business administration and fish on a collegiate bass fishing team.
