⚖️ A Morning at the Cass County Courthouse!

Earlier this month, Cass County CEO members had the opportunity to visit the Cass County Courthouse and hear from Judge TJ Wessel and State’s Attorney Craig Miller.

Both shared their personal journeys and how neither ever expected to end up in the positions they hold today. Their stories were great reminders that career paths aren’t always what we anticipate, and finding something you truly enjoy doing is important!

Judge Wessel emphasized that the best things in life aren’t always the easiest. He encouraged students to use their resources, build connections, and get to know as many people as possible. You never know when those relationships might open a door!

State’s Attorney Miller challenged students to get comfortable being uncomfortable and stressed the importance of finding a healthy work-life balance.

Both also discussed the growing need for attorneys in our area, giving students another potential career path to consider.

Another great reminder that success rarely follows a straight path, and sometimes the best opportunities are the ones we never saw coming!
