“What Now?” — A Powerful Lesson from Wade Muller!
We were excited to welcome Wade Muller back to the Cass County CEO classroom today!
Wade challenged our members to think about how they respond to different situations in life. His message centered around two simple words: “What now?”
Bad things are going to happen. Good things are going to happen. Unexpected things are going to happen. But no matter what happens, we get to decide how we respond.
We can choose to move forward, learn, and grow, or we can choose to dwell in doubt and frustration. Ultimately, the choice is ours!
Wade left our members with two challenges:
* The next time something doesn’t go your way, stop and ask yourself, “What now?”
* Make a list of your “WHO” friends — the people you can turn to for help, support, honest feedback, and guidance when you need it.
Wade also shared a couple of reminders that apply to ALL of us. Give grace and forgiveness to those who have wronged you. And value the people in your life who are willing to tell you the truth, even when it’s difficult to hear. Those are often the people who care enough to help you grow.
