The SWMN CEO Board has launched an Alumni Committee consisting of Claire Baustian (2019), Colby Crabtree (2020), Quinn Buss (2020), Hiltyn Heitkamp (2022), Hailey Boll (2024), and Isabel Wysong (2025). The committee’s goal is to stay connected with our alumni, continue supporting them within the SWMN CEO network, and looking at innovative ways to support alumni to start businesses in our area.

As a first step, the committee sent out a survey to gather feedback about alumni experiences in the program and to learn where they are now. Here is one response from the survey:

"The CEO program made my first year of business school feel a little bit redundant as I feel like I learned a lot of the same things - but in CEO we were actually using real world experience which I appreciated. You can study for a business marketing exam all you want and get a good grade, but nothing will beat being in a somewhat failsafe environment where you have great resources all around you and you are able to see what works and what doesn't work as well. The Program helped me tremendously with networking in my small community, it also helped me realize that I wanted to become my own small business owner one day."
- Joy Taubert, SWMN CEO class of 2024
